New Reciever help!!

Hello,
I'm looking for a new reciever for my projector HT set up. (projector, blu-ray, ps4, DVR)
Currently looking at:
Yamaha 2040 new $1699
Arcam 400 (used but in excellent condition). $1100

Those are probably at the top of my list right now.
The ARCAM is about 6-700 bucks cheaper.

Is 4k passthrough a must have these days?
Dolby ATMOS...not a deal breaker...

Any other suggestions?
The Marantz 7009..is great but alittle out of my price range. ($2100)

Hi Giegar,
Thanks for the reply
I'm using a set of Acoustic Energy AESPRIT 309 tower speakers, with AE center and surrounds.

Take a look at Onkyo TX-NR636. Fairly new mid range model, supports pretty much all a normal user needs, and a bit extra, and costs around $400-$500. It even has Dolby Atmos. So possible configurations range up to 7.2 or 5.2.2 Definitely a good buy for the money!

/Gardium

PS! Bluetooth and WiFi in-built! Dolby Atmos available with a firmware update

Thanks!
That may be a great option that won't break the bank.
I'm wondering if its not the best idea to invest $2000 in a receiver with Dolby ATMOS when DTS-X is right around the corner..

Cheers!
