Lightbulb Advice sought - new system

Want to build receiver and speaker system to replace Samsung soundbar. Will be used for music and movies, most of new content are purchased downloads from various sources.
Movies, I'm not too interested in big sound, but want to get some effects, but primary reqiurement is dialogue.
Thoughts and budget are 2 fronts and center speaker. Might add sub' at some point.
Speakers, either: MA Silver 6 or B&W CM8 S2
. Receiver SR5009 or RX-A740.
Any comments, thoughts appreciated. Toying with idea of adding rear/surround speakers as wireless in future, not sure if it's possible or how. Just a thought. Thanks

Regarding the AVR, the SR5009 uses Audyssey which can EQ both the speakers and the sub (when you get one) whereas the A740 can only EQ the speakers. Additionally feature wise, the SR5009 is more on par with the A840.

Get a 5.1 receiver, even if you have immediate plans only for left, center, and right speakers. A 5.1 receiver will work with just left and right speakers -- you can add others as convenient.

Everybody needs a sub.

On a budget? Go used. You can get a good 5.1 system for less than what you'd pay for what you're looking to do.

Thanks.

Listened to the MA Silver 6 with Yamaha and sound nice, although maybe a tad restrained, but speakers were box new. Listened to CM8 S2 with Marantz and sounds very nice, not sure which setup I prefer and side by side wasn't possible. A840 is outside budget.

More consideriung and possible relisten.
Thanks for comments.

Check out the Onkyo 646. Has hdcp 2.2/hdmi 2.0a and atmos surround.
Best of all will include dts:x surround. Also has bluetooth/wifi and now airplay.

Thanks. I See the new Yamaha rx50 series are a little closer to the Onkyo.
