Denon & Marantz Remote Frequencies

This is a quick (and perhaps dumb) question. Denon and Marantz are of course part of the same parent company. Do their receivers operate on different remote frequencies, or the same frequencies (the way that a Denon remote for one model will typically be able to control another Denon model)?

If I had both a Denon receiver and a Marantz receiver in the same room together being used for different purposes, would I run into problems with the remote for one controlling both? In this scenario, I would NOT want the Denon remote to turn on both receivers or adjust the volume simultaneously. I would want them independent.

Hopefully someone knows the answer to this. Thanks.

I had a Denon 5200 and Marantz 7005 hooked up together and had no
problems. The hex codes are different.

The Denon & Marantz IR codes are both @ 38KHz...
But there should be no conflicts as the 1st part of the hex-code stream IDs the brand and the 2nd part is the function/feature high-low bitstream...

Just my $0.02...
