Issues with your ATI? LOL. @Big BBB seriously, why are you considering these two particular amps? What's your speaker setup? Why do you want to give your surrounds more headroom than your mains? Which do you like the looks of better?
Below clipping and volume equalized, the data shows that all amps sound the same. Find how much power you need and buy the cheapest thing. Put the money into better speakers, room treatments, hookers, etc.
Whatever my personal opinion is or isn't is insignificant. The double blind tests are what they are. Proof by example is a very good example of a logical fallacy. Should you disagree with my point, go find some data that disagrees. I'll give you a hint, there isn't any.
All you have is a few dinosaurs talking about the Emperors New Clothes perpetuating fallacies at the price of other people's wallets.
You dodged my question. I take it then you have never participated in blind testing of amplifiers. If you had done so you would have stated the fact and informed us that the results backed your assertion that all amps sound identical.
OK then, a much easier question: Tell us what power amplifier you are using now (or in the past) and what other amplifier(s) you have tested it against that sounded the same to you. Please do not dodge this query as well.
