4 channel EQ 1 input 4 outputs?

Hi, I have a restaurant with a 4 channel amp (Yamaha XM4180 - 4-channel compact power amplifier 180W/8 ohm x 4ch).

The problem I have is that I need to be able to equalize (hi-mid-low) each area independently. Is there something like an inverted 4 channel mixer? I mean something with 1 input and 4 outputs? if not, any recommendations? Also the outputs must be able to throw in mono.

Thanks for your help!

James

If no answer here, send your question to these guys:

One of their devices might be made to work in that manner.

I'll be back later...

There are many mixers with four (or more) outputs, but it sounds like what you really need is something with four tone control circuits. What is driving the power amp, can it be made to work? In the past I have built tone control circuits for things like this but I do not know if there are commercial products. You could but a couple of cheap stereo equalizers and patch them in before the power amps, something like this: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/215S
