Amp for Wharfedale DX-1 HCP
Wondered if I could get some advice please. I have bought some Wharfedale DX-1 HCP 5.1 speakers. I was thinking about getting the Tannoy HTS 101's at £250 but the DX-1 were £70 cheaper at Richer Sounds so hopefully I've made the right choice and will be happy with them.
Anyway I'm not sure what current amp to pair them with. As the speakers have been out for a while now most posts about these speakers mention amps which are no longer for sale.
Does anyone know a good amp roughly around £250 that would be good enough for these speakers. I was thinking the Yamaha rxv397 at £200 but that seems to be out of stock everywhere now. The rxv697 is about £300 or would something like the Denon AVRX520BT be sufficient? Thanks.
