Is this subwoofer and receiver combo compatible?

https://europe.yamaha.com/en/product...l#product-tabs

http://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio.../rx/rx-v681_u/

My current subwoofer has only a LFE port on the back and my receiver has one subwoofer pre output. All I need is to connect them together for it to work. But this newer combo I'm looking at has multiple subwoofer connections. Can someone please tell me if they're compatible, and if so, how should they be connected?

P.S I'll be connecting the speakers directly to the receiver, not the sub.

They'll work just fine, basically connect like your previous setup. User manuals will give you tips as to which input/output is optimal.

Yes, it'll work fine. just connect it to the LFE Input 3 which is circled in blue.
