onkyo tx-nr1030 + ps4 pro + HTPC - issue only one hdcp 2.2 port ? Workarounds?

I think the answer to this is rather obvious but, it seems that the onkyo receiver the 1030, only has one single HDCP 2.2 port, that of hdmi 3..

This presents an issue with multiple 4K sources.. the ps4 pro needs the hdcp 2.2 to enable 4k mode for the netflix app and down the road actually in november there will be the Xbox scorpio which is 4k as well.

To me the only solution is to buy a $55 amazon HDMI splitter that is 4k and hdcp 2.2 compliant and has a remote.. sending that output to the receiver on hdmi 3.

Is this accurate or is there perhaps some workaround to make something like the ps4 pro work with 4k mode for certain apps?

Thanks in advance

if 5.1 audio is acceptable from the ps4
optical from the ps4 to the onkyo

Audyssey is a great start, but not always a great finish.

or ps4 direct to tv and tv via optical or arc to the onkyo

I believe I have already used up the opticals on another few devices, unsure.

Using optical would eliminate the PCM ability, though with the ps4 i mainly use dolby digital as it sounds better. I'd also have the x1 in the mix too when it goes 4k this fall with scorpio, so i think for sure i wouldnt have enough optical. I'd have to do arc. I do dts-hd and master audio for bluray as well, which i dont think works over ARC.. though mainly on the PC not the other two.

I have that 5 port switch coming, hopefully it works well enough in the interim.. it still seems crazy they only put 1 hdcp 2.2 port on this unit which originally was a $1500 or more item.
