Made some huge improvements to my Paradigm set up.
I looked at the THX webpage for speaker setup. ADP's now 2 feet above my head and rears are higher up. Put in big rug and hung 2 tapestries on wall. Repositioned my 100's so they are better placed away from corner and side walls.
To get HD sound from BluRay, I replaced AnthemAVM20 with Marantz 8002. The Audissey auto setup in the 8002 really works well. The 8002 seems work better than the Anthem as a pre pro. The Audissey does make up for some bad room acoustics.
I replaced my CC570 with the monsterous CC690 at 70 lbs 1 tweeter, 1 x 4" mid range, 2 x 7" midrange, 2x7" woffers. These match the 100s really well.
Studio 100's, CC690 Bryston 3 ch 5BST
Studio ADP, Bryston 2 ch 3BST
Small Angstrom rears, amp in the Marantz
I now think that the center channel should match the LR mains in terms of number and size of drivers. It make a very big difference.
I now have really realy good surround sound from my much less than perfect room.
Reccommendations for better Paradigm sound:
1. fix room acoustics with rugs, tapesties and other sound absorbant stuff in the room like parkas for guests and the kids).
2. Correct speaker placement
3. Centre channel should better or match main LR speakers in terms of number and same kind of drivers.
4. Play HD sound from Blu ray movies.

Both are very good Canadian products. The Paradigm and Bryston factories are a quick drive from my dealer, so service, if ever needed, is not a problem - that is great synergy
