I'm looking to replace my XR55 now. It's still working great, but I recently bought a new HDTV and it'd be nice to have a receiver with more advanced features to go along with it. I'm probably going to get a Pioneer VSX-1020-K. It looks like you get a lot of bang for your buck. It can be had for around $400. It's too bad Panasonic has gotten out of the receiver business! (My new TV is a Panny TC-P50VT20)

Can anyone suggest if I can connect 2 speakers to speaker A and 2 speakers to speaker B.
My speakers are not biamp, so I was wondering if this will be correct.
