This is a message from China, sorry for my english.

I bought a Linn AV5103 from ebay.

There is no DTS logo on the front panel, also can't find DTS option on OSD manual.

so I guess it's a early non-DTS version.

How can I upgrade it to DTS and lastest software.

I love its sound as a music pre-amp, don't mind it's only 5.1, but I need DTS when I watch movie.

Thanks!

You have to send it to Linn for DTS if it really is an early one - the processor was changed. I not sure whether they still do that upgrade. The serial number for the change was about 1550 if I remember right.

I can't help with the remote, but try to borrow another universal remote programmed to be a Linn, to let ou find out whether it is the remote or the 5103 that is the problem.
