Pioneer VSX-516 and an Onkyo HT-R330 from a HT-S580 HITB. Happy with both for the price but to my suprise the receiver from the HTIB package is clearly better in power, features and sound quality, everything but connection options.

Yamaha RX-V995. I bought it in 1999. Loved it then, love it now! I have never had a problem with it. When I get ready to upgrade, I'll get another Yamaha if I can't swing seperates.

HK-325, Onkyo-573

The 325 has been an incredible receiver. Lots of power, A/V connections, flexibility and the last black model before HK went to the silver/black combo. I actually had 9 speakers running off this thing once just to try out the 7.1 and multiroom at the same time with the help of an external 2 channel amp. And this HK weighs a hefty 40lbs.

The 573 is pretty basic compared to the HK but I got it for $99 after a nice Fry's sale and a $100 gift coupon. Its in the living room and its a simple unit for my friends to operate when we're watching TV, listening music, etc. Nowhere near the power or flexibility of the HK, even though its supposed to be 75 wpc but does everything I need.

Just because there is a knob doesn't mean you should turn it.

I'm old school ... Sony DB-830

Right now, it is paired with the Boston Acoustic A7200 - and will be replaced once I receive my Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro.

It isn't about the product(s) YOU use but Rather how YOU use the product(s) that makes ALL of the difference!!!

Panny SA-XR57k is on its way! Otherwise, old Kenwood HTiB. Not bad, just not component switching.

HK AVR635...best receiver (as pre/pro) I've owned yet. Passed over many units including the Boston Acoustics AVP7 and the HK 7300 (both on closeout)...had to have the EQ.

Have all that you want ... just want what you have.
