Rotel and my dealer were good enough to swap out my RSP1582 with a fresh one, seems to be working perfectly. These are great components.

I had some BJC HDMI and Interlinks made a while back, I think the BJC XLRs are not grounded (the popping noise thru the speakers) and the HDMI crapped out on me "mid-Spectre" (sorry, Mr Bond) so I got pissed and dropped some coin on some AQ fluff. Mackenzie XLRs, Carbon HDMIs, Rocket 44s (bi wire), new Power cables for both amps, the processor and the Oppo. Oh, and Cryo-treated Hubbell HBL5362 outlets from CableDyne.

I had a moment of impulse, hopefully I do not go further down the rabbit hole.

So the last BJC XLR was replaced ( I only had 6, waited on the last to arrive) with new AQ Mackinzies, and the pop/noise is gone. What a difference for sure.

Finally getting it all buttoned up the way I want, now focus on tuning.

Is anyone using the ARC function on their 1572? I'm using the proper output of the Rotel to the proper input of my TV. I've set the HDMI Control to ON on the Rotel per the manual and selected ARC audio on the TV, but what else am I missing? The manual is pretty vague on what source I need to have selected on the Rotel. There is no selection for "HDMI OUTPUT 1" in the audio selection for the input I'm using for the TV. Is there a special "input" I need to select for ARC to work properly?

Will the Rotel 1585 run 3x Kef Ci5160rl-thx and 2x Ci3160Rl-thx. They are both 4 ohm speakers. Also will the Rotel 1555 be able to handle them too. Cheers

Did anyone switched off the blue led of a RB-1582?
Can i de solder it? Or is it just a connector?

I know about the sticker.

Really don't like it's on all the time even though the 12v switch isn't triggered.

If a device is off the powerleds has to be also i think.

Not something that I would personally try (I'm a miserable solderer.)

You could also try this:

Funny... You are quoting me without the part that i am aware of the sticker which was in the bag.

If you have one who blinds it all i am satisfied

Some ideas as suggested. Trim it to your liking. It's on my RMB 1095.

LOL... This can't be true on a high end amplifier... I thought you cut it nice or something.

But if it works for you? I think i am open it so see how it's done.

Maybe a Sharpie marker pen will do the job.

Problem solved... It's just a small 3 lead connector which you can pull out. As shown on the first picture... I am blue led free!! Yessss

Please note the speaker protection led at the last picture... The two leads bent down over the connector SHAME on you Rotel.

^^^Exactly my point as to not to tinker with a "high-end-amplifier" when there is nothing wrong. A simple tape does the job!

I know what i am doing, if you are not confident with it leave it with a tape.
But not in my equipment rack.
