It sais it can run in bridge-mono at 8 ohms, but does not mention the power output at 4 ohms in bridge-mono mode. I am interested in buying this amp to power my passive SVS subwoofer. The SVS sub is 4 ohms though. Would it be safe to get this amp? What power would it probably output if it was able to do 4 ohms in bridge-mono mode?

To be "safe" to get the amp and use it in 4 ohms bridged mode, the amp should carry a 2 ohm stereo rating - and it does not from what I see.

Any guess at 4 ohm bridged would be pure speculation.

Probably best to call Crown tech/product support and ask them these questions. There is a Crown-specific forum on their website where you could ask too.

BTW - the amp is not class A, it's class AB/B

Just because there is a knob doesn't mean you should turn it.
