Hi,

Could you please share your shopping experience when purchasing from AVS? I am new here and I've read here and there about purchasing equipment from AVS.

This sounds silly but, is it Legit?
I'm about to place a $1200.00 order and would like to hear your thoughts before I do.

How is it that the prices on here are so low?

Thank You

Yep, our hosts are very legit.
I have ordered big ticket items (PJ, VP, screen) several times from them (and would do it again).
As to why their prices are so competitive you probably have to ask them.

I've spent $10,000 with them over the years -- 2 scalers, SD-modded DVD player, CRT front projector (way back when that was the only option!!), and a screen. You have nothing to fear.

I ordered an amp from them a few years back and would not hesitate to order "big ticket" items from them again.

I've spent about $5400 in AV reciever, front projector and screen in the past year, they're very legit, and their prices will suprise you sometimes, I've been super happy with the purchasing experience with them.

I have done a RMA on a screen from them, that was also painless, so the post-purchase service is definitely there too.

Great experience. Got 4 grand worth of Atlantic Technology , Denon and Speakercraft stuff and it was all as advertised with no problems and very good service.

Your profile says you've been a member since 2005? And if you look at the number of members and the length of membership...one could conclude that if they weren't legit, they wouldn't be around this long and would be littered with ppl complaining about them? At least that would be my assumption.
