I want to play with this thing the second I get it (I'm sure many of you can relate).

Going to need a 15-20 footer.

I looked around a bit at local stores and online and didn't see too many decent prices other than on ebay.

Where else can I buy a decent optical cable without be raped on the price?

Why do you have your component so far away from the receiver? Also, for HDMI you don't need optical cables separately! Just curious.

I have found these guys to have good cables at very fair prices with quick delivery:

It's for my PC (not dedicated HTPC, just my gaming one), which is about 12-15 feet away.

None of my devices use HDMI.

They're out of 25 footers as well.

It's like the world is conspiring against me.

How about the new AVS sponsor, RiteAV.com? I haven't purchased anything from them, but they do show 25' optical cables in stock...

Wow, thanks man.

AVS Sponsor, excellent prices (even better than Monoprice I think), excellent Reseller Ratings.

What an awesome store.

That one's a bit short, I need at least 15 or so feet.

I picked one up from AVRite already.

Thanks though.

Forgot to mention that RiteAV hooked me up with same day shipping even though I missed the cutoff by about 40 minutes. Shipping was cheap too, there were options as low as $3.xx dollars.

What an awesome store.

The only thing I didn't like was their pricing on speaker wire. They custom cut their own cables and charge by the foot rather than sell premade spindles, which results in higher prices than Monoprice and some other places.
