I just picked it up at the store, and so far Im liking with the exception of a problem Im having with digital audio. Its working just fine with my cable box thats connected via an optical output, while the xbox 360 (which is connected via HDMI) and my PC (which is connected via optical) dont seem to be providing digital audio, so Im only seeing that its detecting left and right channels. The xbox is set to output 5.1 audio, and my PC should do the same when playing AC3 encoded videos.

Any ideas?

I assume you already configured the inputs in the 247. Also, are you sure you are sending surround content to the 247? Not all disks output surround content. What does the front panel on the 247 say. Look at all the icons that are lit.

Well, xbox 360 should send out 5.1 digital surround all the time, and it doesn't.

The speakers are lit, but only front left and right have the little letters in them. When I switch to cable box, all the speakers have little letters in them.
