I am upgrading my old Sony GX69ES receiver to a Pioneer VSX-01TXH 7.1 and I am planning to use my old speakers as follow:
Pair Front L/R are Boston HD10
Center is Boston 404v
Pair Rear are Boston HD5
Bought a new subwoofer Infinity Powered PS212 and just purchased two Infinity Primus P142 speakers in order to bring my new system up to 7.1 capabilities.
Could someone tell me if the receiver, speakers and subwoofer combination as stated above will be a good and acceptable combination or do I need to upgrade my speakers? Also if I use them as I am planning what am I going to be missing?
Thanks,
ABen
