Ez all!

I'm a total noob when it comes to anything audio-related, but I can figure out this much. I have an issue regarding the compatibility of the amp I own and the speakers I want to buy.

Stats are: Amp is a Sony STR-DE485 that kicks out 80 Watts per channel.
Speakers are (get ready) Cerwin-Vega XLS-28 - 200 Watts.

Now I know this is a real stretch and I presume these wonderful speakers will end up sounding like utter piss, but will this work? Is it really worth the trouble, pairing this equipment or am I just hoping for too much?

Any thoughts, advice, smack on the back of the head; greatly appreciated!
Big up!

Should work just fine. The 200watts is the maximum input for the CV.
