Read again. I was not talking about modding for INPUTS but rather to add pre outs to feed the Bose system. Unless I missed it, the AVR has only a sub woofer pre out.

The internal radio tuner is connected via analogue and goes straight through to the AV OUT jacks (they're essentially fixed level rec outs). I've tried it on a couple of Yamaha receivers, using those jacks connected to a TV.

Part of what you paid for is after sales support.
Call Bose to see if they can help you. If they can't help, maybe should should by a different type of speaker (e.g. not an all-in-one sound bar).
