I'm buying the wall plates for the new home I'm building. I will have a 7.2 system in our 1st floor livingroom. I am getting a 7.2 - 2 gang wall plate, this plate has connections for 2 subs. My question is what type of plate do I use at the other end? (the end where the sub will actually be in the room) I need the rear of the plate to have threaded coax cable type connection and then the front needs RCA connecion.

I'm buying my wire and plates from monoprice.com. Thanx.

^^^ Thanx... Duh, I never thought of buying a blank plate and putting the correct connector in it. I was looking for plates already made up. I will use this link. Thanx again.

You could also buy a plate with a BNC connector on it; that is what I would do.

Why? Then you would need a F connector on the back, then a BNC to RCA adapter in the front.

Here's what I bought and it should work. I couldn't find a single RCA connector for my sub so I got this:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10425&cs_id=1042502&p_id=2999&seq=1&format=2
