Hello all,

I have friend who owns a PA table from JB Technics - PMD 8 -.

Its nothing fancy, just a regular PA.

Picture:

On the right side of the PA there is a REC OUT 3.5 Tulp jacket (red - white).

I was now wandering when sound levels are set correct why I can't record with the Line In option on my H 1 Zoom Recorder.

When I plug in the recorder through line in with the red and white jacks, the sound levels jump to red en won't come down anymore.

When hitting the record button sound is getting verry distorted and from verry verry poor quality.

There are no any other availble options to plug in the Zoom H1 recorder. Whats bothering me the most is the fact that the led lights go to red and wont come down anymore.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thank you in advance.

Did you switch the H1 to line input?

As far as I know there is no button or switch on the H1 to switch from mic to line in. Only some switches to change lo cut - rec format - auto level.
