I am planning to use a Yamaha RX-V2400 receiver as an amp for 4 speakers in the living room and adjacent kitchen.
I have a question about wiring the speakers.
While connecting two speakers to the main terminal is a no brainer I am not sure where to connect the remaining two speakers.
It looks like the receiver has an amp for zone 2. Should I connect two speakers to it? Or is it better to use the surround terminals?
I guess my question relates to music programs as well.
I will always use all 4 speakers. I want to be able to calibrate the output level for the second room (once s a setup), afterwards I will use only the master volume.
