Hey guys,

I have a small home theater powered by a Pioneer VSX94TXH 7.1 receiver. Due to the layout of the room both the rear and side surrounds are on the back wall as placing the side surrounds on the sides is a no go. I bought a matching pair of in-wall speakers off of eBay and was wondering if I could run the side surround to them and place them between the front left and right channel under the 92'' screen? Has anyone ever done anything like this before and if so what was the sound like?

Thanks for any info.

-Mike

You want to take sounds that were intended to come from your left and right side and route them to speakers on either side of your centre speaker?

Save your money and don't use side or rear speakers if it's a problem. Just run your audio as 3.1
