Not sure if this is the proper forum to post this question to
My AVR, Onkyo SR-606, does not support 3D via HDMI. What I would like to do is split the HDMI output from my PS3 to go to my AVR->TV and also directly to the same TV. I want to do this so I can get the high quality audio output for non-3D blurays on one input and also use the 3D for the other tv input.
Anybody know of a solution for this? Looking at monoprice it looks like a powered HDMI splitter might work but I was hoping for a more simple/cheap passive non powered solution. I understand with HDCP the passive adapters do not work when powering two outputs but I was hoping there might be a solution for me since I will only have one output active at time.
This seems like it would almost would work but specifically says HDCP is not supported
