Ok, so my Denon 1913 runs my system in the basement and has an unsued zone 2. I ran some additional Cat5 lines when I mounted my TV in the living room fo futrure use. I decided to use zone 2 to feed audio to my living room TV & sound bar, so I bought this little adaptor. When I went to install it, I realized that zone 2 uses binding post (duh) and the RCA connectors wont work.

So now the question is how do run the zone 2 from binding posts over Cat5? I can't seem to find and adaptor from RCA to +/- banana plugs. I dont mind scrapping the RCA adaptors I bought. I also didn't see a cat5 to banana plug adaptor. What options are there?

Cut the RCA connectors off and wire to the binding posts.

Use one of the Cat 5 cables to pull some speaker wire.
