hi, first time here, anyway I will be moving to a new house soon, and my room will be around 30.37 sqm or 326.9 sq ft.  I currently have a energy speakers 5.0, yamaha rx-v373 and bic v1020 subwoofer. My room wil be kind of like square shaped, my room purpose will be like bedroom/home theater in one. I need advice on speaker placement. Pls let me know what you need from me. Also is having 5.1 enough for my room or should I add two more satellite speakers and upgrade my avr? If I need two more satellite speakers, what would you advice?

Main purpose for the room is for music listening and watching tv shows, not so much into movies.

Just to let you know too, am not a very techinical person when it comes to audio setup.

Thanks

This will get you started:

From what you describe, I imagine 5.1 is sufficient for your needs.
