Question Headphones on a Panasonic TH-50pz700U?

I've got a Panasonic TH-50PZ700u and the wife would like to hook up a pair of headphones to it. Ideally, when the headphones were plugged in, the internal tv speakers would self mute.

I've looked for the headphone output jack, but this lovely Plasma TV doesn't seem to have one and the manual is confusing.

Any suggestions?

According to this page, your TV does not have a headphone jack. Do you have the TV hooked up to any sort of audio system?

No, nothing is hooked up.

Will she also need a way to adjust the volume on the headphones? Via a better set of phones than I have or will the TV do that?

You could hook up some cordless headphones to the analog output of the TV, but it's not going to mute the external speakers when you use them.

Yes, I know a bit about that.

How about the digital output?

And where on that TV is the analog output?

How do you adjust headphone volume?

Anyone else?
