Bi-amped System Crossover Tweaking with TrueRTA
I’m a newbie to software like TrueRTA. The manual for my two-way active crossover says that though crossovers can and should be adjusted by ear, by also using a mic, preamp and software, one can generate graphics that will help get the task done a lot faster.

. I refer to the 3 pole filters are for clarity. I’ll be hoping to get away with using 2 pole filters at most.
I need to learn how to measure and display the frequency response and phase response of the HP and LP filters-and their summed responses-of the chosen type, slope and Fc of the two crossovers.
Would someone here care to describe their own step by step procedure for doing this-presumably using TrueRTA’s dual trace oscilloscope and an omnidirectional mic and preamp?
