So I have a Klipsch Promedia 5.1 setup for my PC that I got about 2 years ago. It works great, but today I decided I needed to move the sub (rearranging room) to relocate the bass sweet spot to my chair
Unfortuntely, my interconnects are too short to get an ideal placement. The Promedia 5.1 has 3x3.5mm jacks for 5.1ch analog. This model does not support digital. The cables it came with are 12 feet I would estimate.
I need to go at least 20, so I figure 3x25ft should be a good match.
I see some on ebay for very cheap ($8 shipped or so) and other places for as much as $30 each. Obviously I don't want skinny little crapwires, but I don't want to spend more than $10-20 on each one.
Is there a good website you would reccomend for getting these cables? Maybe some other way of doing things that I'm not seeing?
Also, my control tower for the speaker set has really crappy pots. They jump all over the place when I move the knobs, and are generally very nasty to use. I cant seem to find a replacement tower on eBay, and they are "unavailable" on Klipsch's spare parts site. Is it possible to clean / adjust these? Are there any hidden spare parts stocks out there?
Any information would be appreciated!
