Just a quick AVSForum poll on what AVS Forum members have setup for their speaker configuration. (If you have more than one setup, please just answer for the main setup as we know some of you have a listening room as well as a theater for example.)

Simple as that really, do you use 2 channel, 5.1, 7.1, or more?

Note...The .1 can be .2 etc when it comes to subs, we are just using the common terms.

Feel free of course to talk about this below.

Poll will auto close on 4/10/11

2.1

5.0 for now. Hopefully soon to be 5.1.

Once I purchase a home, I'm hoping to be able to expand that to 7.1 or 7.2 depending on the room size.

I currently have a 7.1 system in my living room but plan on one day going 11.2 or more! biggrin.gif

Why not have it be a running poll and allow users to update as their systems change?

Home Office - 2.0
Garage System - 2.1
Dedicated theater room - 5.1

While it is a dedicated theater room, it's relatively small, so I don' t feel a need for more speakers/subs. I would love to have stereo bass up front, but the one SVS cylinder I have now sounds like it's going to collapse the drop ceiling in our basement, so I'd rather not risk it.

5.2 with the .2 being a sub and a TES system.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it.
