All the party info is in the first post.
What's the status of the HT booth tour? Is this still and go and if yes, what days and time? Have the HT vendors been determined?
This is my first time going also can't wait to meet some more fellow AVS folks i will be Thursday and Friday.
I think they're still working out all the details on the booth tour. I'm sure Scott will update us as more details come in.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Question is, do we just show up and show our CEDIA badge to get in? The venue shows that the room is booked for a private party during that time. I assume it's AVS. Is it a hosted or cash bar? Munchies? Anything else planned like there was at the wonderful CEDIA party AVS did years ago in Denver?
For the party, all you really need is to not look like a deer in headlights when you see that it's a private AVS party.
We're not looking to turn anyone away or ask for credentials so your CEDIA badge is great but not required if you want to be undercover.
Unfortunately, we've had to cancel the booth tour because of scheduling conflicts; sorry about that! However, the party is still on, and we hope to see all AVS members who are attending CEDIA at the shindig!
Thank goodness we're back in Denver. I'm one of many who strongly prefer Denver as the location of choice.
Cool about the party location. 16th Street Mall is good location and highly accessible, although I'm not familiar with this particular spot. Some good live jazz in Denver, though, so it should be good.
Just saw that the tour was canceled. That would have been cool, but it's ok.
Here are pictures from the Embassy Suites Stapleton facebook page.

cool will be there tomorrow did you have to print out your receipt for cedia to get the badge?
Good first "pre-day" of CEDIA today. Good turnout from what I can see, but it'll really show tomorrow. Manufacturers were saying that attendance is up this year, though.
I'm seeing lots of familiar faces.
See you all Friday! Go Broncos!

Stop on by!
I hope everyone had a great time. It's always nice to see everyone and to put real faces to names.
Definitely did miss the Botts this year and others that have attended in the past. With CEDIA moving their after-party to Thursday this year, I was hoping there would be less conflicts for some of the big companies to have some of their familiar names come by. Maybe next year!
Great to see everyone again!
