It would have been nice to have a little more space in the back of the room to incorporate the back bar.

Another layer of drywall might have been a good idea. The room does a fantastic job of keeping the sound out, but when the subs hit really low, there is some vibration / sound to the floor above. It almost sounds like distant thunder. I believe another layer of drywall may have helped with those lower frequencies. It doesn't seem to wake the kids up, but it bothers my wife that it could wake the kids up. smile.gif

I probably would have also built the sub floor below the D-Box platform isolated from the rest of the floor. Again, just to prevent the transfer of energy to the rest of the room.

Good idea with the extra drywall and sub floor, but it sounds like you are mostly there.
