Yes, I would get rid of the short excerpt completely from the last post column, and just have the popup preview (the long version) when you hover over the arrow.

How do you access all the galleries now? Well I click "Gallery" on the line of options under the AVS logo, it only links to my own profile.

It doesn't look like the categories were ever imported from Huddler.

Can we increase the grace period you get to edit a post before it's flagged as edited? Seems like it's shorter than it used to be, and if I edit to fix typos I often seem to be a bit too late.

I don't know if the style can be modified respectively for skins or if it is a one style only modification that would have to changed to work on all skins present and future. In the picture below we are looking at the background f4f4f4 which needs a darker hex in order to contrast the yellow font.
Spoiler!

Let's revisit this situation please.

I think equipment lists were exclusive to the Huddler platform and couldn't export.

That's not 100% true.. My list ended up split between my Biography, Location, Interests, and Occupation fields in my User Details. I've since deleted most of it from all but the Biography field . . .

I believe it's time to Overthrow VerticalScope..
and Bring Back Huddler!

It's a shame that in the end TCU's playoff chances all came down to this . . .

I thought the original VB setup did have a spot for equipment, I know I remember entering it and even updating it when I made some major changes. Exporting from Huddler, maybe no, but the original AVS VB software did in fact have a field to enter equipment.

Why are YouTube clips being displayed with the YouTube area so wide on the forum - so much wider than the actual clip? Shouldn't it not be any wider than the clip normally?

The green bit in the attachment is where the video actually plays, but the YouTube area shows as much wider. Also, clicking edit on the post removes the ability to see the attachment once saved, you have to refresh the page before it shows again.

See my attachment in my post - that's how it looks (with the video shown in the green area - I removed the text just in case of copyright) on my machine with a 1920x1080 desktop and Firefox 30.0 browser when I view post 67 in this thread:
Transformers 4: Age of Extinction (2014)

Yes that looks better thanks. It's not much too wide like before. I'm not sure if it needs the "YouTube" grey bit on top (not sure it's really necessary as there's an option to watch on YouTube at the bottom of it) + the small white surround. But it's much better than before.

Guys, for whatever reason I'm struggling to find info on how to get to your last read post in a thread - does it exist?

First, if you haven't read the thread since rolling back to vBulletin, the pointer to the last read post in a thread may be messed up (for me, they were all about 5 days out of date), but after reading past that point, the pointer should be ok.

When looking at a list of threads, there is a > at the end of the name of that thread. That is suppose to take you to the last message you read in that thread. Some "mobile" browsers seem to have issues with that and it is being worked on.

I usually want to go to the first unread message in a thread. For example, from the "User CP" (User Control Page) subscription, listing unread threads, I might typically see something like this:

In the above you see the title of "HDTVtest Flat-Panel Faceoof Crowns Panasonic Plasma as Best TV". The little "v" at the beginning of the title,

should take you to the first unread message in that thread. The ">" after the title and after the "( 1 2 )" should take you to the last message you read.

So far, once I have read a thread under the current vBulletin, I haven't had any problems going to the first unread message in that thread.

My very humble setup:
Man Cave:Vizio E500i-A1 "Smart TV" (50-in 1080p 120Hz LED/LCD, has Netflix app.), Sony BDP-S3100 Blu-ray player, Roku N1000 (original model), PC (Windows 7), Comcast Internet (120Mbps/12Mbps).
Bedroom:LG 32LV3400-UA TV (32-in 768p 60Hz LED/LCD), HD DVR (Motorola RNG200N), Xfinity Comcast cable (Digital Preferred Plus), DVD/VHS player.

Okay another question about the galleries that have been wiped out. I clicked on another user's profile that I know had galleries, and there's no link to them. So it seems that all the pictures that were previously on this forum can only be viewed by the person who posted them. Will this be corrected or have all the decades of accumulated pictures been trashed?

Where is a link to look at any gallery?

So there won't be a gallery anymore? Because if the gallery is about tracking down users names instead of enjoying the visuals of all users, that just stinks.
