HD, and happy with HD. I think it would take a complete industry-wide switch over to drag me into 4k (kind of like if I was the last holdout using 8 track tapes).

I have an old 720p display in the garage, but everything else is HD. I looked at a Sony 4K projector at BB recently, but 3 years of zero-interest payments still end up costing more than a car lease. No thanks - I'll buy a $280 bulb for my old 1080p projector, and by the time that one dies, perhaps 4K projectors will be within my grasp.

I am intrigued by the new TI DLP chips with greater mirror angles which enable deeper blacks... until now, I've only considered LCOS/SXRD due to the high priority that I put on contrast ratio.

The high contrast ratio from SXRD is only for a few months anyway.

Just HD - not enough content yet to justify 4K

HD and no desire to change at this point. Especially after I just picked up a 64 inch plasma pn64F5500 from the Samsung repair shop. Brand new screen and all. Just can't commit yet to the new 4k's

Since the first time I responded to this survey, I've moved on to the Samsung JS8500, the Sony X930D, the Samsung KS9000, and now the Samsung Q9. Plenty to watch in 4K via streaming and UHD BLU-RAY...and 1080p looks great upscaled.

My primary is a 60 inch 4K unit. I upgraded from a 32 inch 720p Sony and couldn't be happier!
