Since we're getting silly expensive, how about a pair of Wilson WAMM Master Chronosonic speakers?

Only $685,000 a pair.

Yesterday I was looking at the 100 inch Z9 with 3D and was wondering what the price of a comparable projector would cost, you answered that question.
Both Sony's costing the same, I think I would go with the Z9, of course I'm going to win the 337 powerball!
When the Z9 came out, I went to best buy to look at a 65 in Z9, while talking too the sales person, he told me three people had ordered the 100 inch Z9, I do live in BUCKS county.

The OPPO-205 is pretty much wasted if you go with those speakers as the only improvement over the OPPO-203 is the analog out which won't be used with digital active speakers like the Grimani.

I would love to hear such a system with Atlitude32 + Grimani speakers and the day I win the lottery will get it.

Does this include white glove delivery and setup, and a 5 year warranty? (Double the warranty, if paid with a CC that includes this option!)

Please note these other abilities over the 203

HDMI Audio Jitter Reduction
The UDP-205 features a high-stability, high-precision HDMI clock and a special HDMI audio jitter reduction circuit. This unique design significantly reduces jitter and eliminates timing errors, allowing you to enjoy your music with increased accuracy when you use the audio-only HDMI output port for connecting the audio signal.

High Quality Metal Construction - Reinforced Chassis Structure
The UDP-205 features a brushed aluminum front panel and a metal chassis that continues the tradition of excellent workmanship found in previous generations of OPPO universal players. The new double-layered chassis further enhances the stability and vibration-canceling capabilities.

Toroidal Power Supply - Clean Power for Clear Music
The UDP-205 has separate power supplies for digital and analog circuitry to eliminate virtually all harmful interference. The analog audio circuitry is powered by a massive toroidal power transformer, which offers superior efficiency and significantly lower exterior magnetic field interference compared to traditional laminated steel core transformers. The toroidal linear power supply provides a very clean and robust power source to the audio components.

Headphone AmplifierHeadphone Amplifier
For a more intimate listening experience, headphones can be connected directly to the UDP-205’s built-in headphone amplifier. The headphone amplifier is connected directly to the ESS SABRE PRO DAC and offers a unique performance advantage over standalone headphone amplifiers. Compared to the built-in headphone amplifier in our previous generation BDP-105/105D players, the new design offers more power and higher performance.

All the above would be of benefit to someone not utilizing Analog out or Digital inputs to analog out.

Not really but to each their own I guess, if I could afford a Trinnov Altitude 32 and 20+ Grimani speakers I still wouldn't buy the UDP-205.

I'm sorry, you can say economies of scale all the live long day, but ain't no way a 100" tv costs as much as a Mercedes to manufacture.

I just bought the 86" LG (2017) model, and it's perfect for the wall size I have. I'd love that 100". Maybe when it's 10 grand I'd consider it.

All of that ... but skip the speakers. No thanks, I'm cool.

Trinnov? Well, if you insist.

Both the Sony 100" tv (whoa!) and that 5000ES laser projector though.... dayum. *neednewunderwear*
