BB had the 1100 for 50 bucks when it became available in their wharehouse through employee pricing, which I am sure was a mistake. The Mag supervisor told me there were 100 in their district wharehouse, and 20 minutes later they were all gone lol. BB def ate a nice chunk of change with that mistake.

I have to say that I am with Vancouver on the 1000. This thing is a heaping pile. I have all of components in a rack in a closet in the outside hallway, so I NEEDED the RF. Needless to say that it doesn't work, so I need to keep the rack pulled all the way out to work.

The 1100 is pretty sleek looking though, but I am going to consider the MX3000 from Universal. It has a similar UI, and from what I have heard from owners, it is leaps and bounds better than the UI that Logitech implements.

Hi there, First off, I know that im reviving a necro thread, but just reading a few posts in the first few pages i read one very influential member stating that he would never recommend the harmony 1000, well I just picked one up off ef Flea-Bay, and as an owner of the Harmony 520, The step up to the 1000 was an awesome experience! The set up was very quick, and the larget screen is awesome, and much easier to read! Its a seven year old device, and Logitech seems to still be supporting it as it was updated as soon as i plugged it into my PC. There are a few things I wish it could do better, but off the bat I am very happy with it. For 60.00, I could not have done better, IMO! So if any of you are tempted to buy one, Im just letting you know this product is still being supported by logitech. There are some real good deals out there for this remote right now.

I hope someone gets some help from my post.
Doug
