I'm a bit confused by all the different choices for Harmony remotes currently. Which one should I get? I just need to be able to control my Sony HDTV, TiVo HD, Oppo BDP-83 Blu-Ray player and Outlaw Audio 1050 AV receiver (a bit old).

The main thing I'm worried about is the receiver since that's what I use most often (changing volume/inputs all the time etc). Will a Harmony remote be able to control it and which one offers the best bang for the buck?

All harmony's can control exactly the same devices and will have no trouble with your receiver. Choose from THIS chart based on price, layout, looks, RF, etc. I'd personally avoid the 900 and 1100 since they can't do certain kinds of macros (sequences). The 510 will be $40 at best buy on BF. It will do nicely and is by far the best bang for the buck. If you want more buttons and a prettier screen, look at the 700, etc.

Just received my Harmony one remote and it's awesome. This is my second harmony remote, the 880 I was using previously was nice but the One is much sleaker and feels like a more qualiity product. I would recommend it

I got my One last year at Christmas after hearing a co-worker rave about it. My wife and I love it. I have convinced my father in law to get one and ordered him one last night from Amazon.

Where am I with my HT build?

Still Dreaming! But I built a shed!
