Hello,

I'm looking for a wireless extender for 1100EU remote,

Is there any online shop in the US that I can purchase from and?
How do i know which model is compatible to a EU model?

Do you mean a regular IR wireless extender or propietary RF base extender from Logitech.

If the first any basic IR extender should work for you. Look at X10 Powermids or Terk for something basic in a wireless IR extender, or for more options and a dedicated IR setup you can look at a Xantech solution. That's just a couple of the many solutions other than the RF base station.

I'm looking for the Logitech extender which is compatible with the remote,
Thing is that it should be compatible with the 1100 Europe version which uses a different radio frequencies than the US one,

BTW - how can other extender work with the Harmony remote?

Other extenders will take the signal the 1100 is sending as IR and convert to its own RF commands then back to IR at the other end where your devices are.

As opposed to the 1100 sending out the command as RF and then the base station converting back to IR.

Where else but on Amazon.UK

I know I have heard of people buying DVD's from overseas, so hopefully you can get shipped to you if your in the US.

Price of the product or price of the shipping? I just checked Amazon US and see what you mean though if your talking about the product. Have you checked with logitech to confirm that the RF bases are in fact different?

Yes , those are different,
Cant by from Amazon US and use a remote from Europe,
Talked to Logitech support but they can't tell where to buy,
When I explained the situation the lady told me to replace my remote ļŠ
Couldn't be more funny than that
