I have a Da-Lite Cosmopolitan Electrol screen. Was stunned at how expensive the add-on remote options are.

3 years ago, I installed a Monoprice screen in the basement for the kids theater and gaming and for $30 got the RF remote to go with it. It works great.

I understand that it is no longer available through Monoprice.

At least one other AVS member successfully used this remote on his electric Da-Lite screen-- at 1/20th the cost of the Da-Lite branded alternatives.

Does anyone know if there is a similar product still on the market?

Also posted on the Screen forum.

Regards,
Jim

I did purchase my remote from another site, not monoprice's site. It looks just like the one that was sold by monoprice that is why I called it a monoprice remote. At the moment I cannot recall the site. It was like a year ago.

Hi,
I also have a cosmopolitan electrol with just the standard 3-way wall switch. Did you figure out how to use a remote?

My rf remote can dim the lights, but it seems silly to have light automation when I have to get up to lower the projector from a switch that sits in the same bank as the lightswitch. :P
