Hey now.

I was just wondering if there were any remotes for the iPad or iPod that are truly universal. I don't care if I have to pay for it.

I know denon, pioneer, marantz, Yamaha etc all have them for their wifi receiver but for the most part I hear bad things. Well except for pioneer because I have used it with my blu ray player and it's pretty damn good. But what if I get oppo one day? Or what if I buy a receiver that isn't pioneer?

I wanna be able to use 1 remote for everything, WITHOUT having to attach some stupid looking device to it to act as ir

You're not cultured. You're stupid.

I think the OP doesn't want any blasters, so he needs something like RedEye, not an IP solution like iRule, etc. I guess it's for aesthetics more than function, because IP and blasters is far superior. Perhaps he doesn't realize the base is also a blaster and the he can probably get by without any stick-on blasters. When much of your equipment is IR there's no way to avoid using IR.
