I need a remote that can control a denon 3212 Xbox Ps3 and directv. I currently have the l5 not to impressed with layouts but overall function is pretty solid. I am looking at the irule and the Logitech harmony with the screen. Also I am welcoming a baby into the world and was wondering if any remote could allow you to see baby monitor on its screen! Also how much is the irule I am kinda of confused at the prices on their website. Budget is around 200

If the baby monitor is actually a requirement for the remote then you should stick to one of the smartphone/tablet solutions. The actual remote app might not work for the baby monitor, but there are plenty of other apps that would. A cheap Foscam IP camera and one of the many free apps such as CamViewer would work.

But since you would be switching apps anyway would it be much different to pick up a remote instead.

FYI, I had an audio only baby monitor that we never used. We always had them near us. Buy a Moses basket instead...
