I tried to use an Speakercraft IRC-2P2.0 IR extender to control a Bell Fibe TV VIP2622 receiver and got no luck, I tested this IR extender with a Sony DVD player, it worked fine. Does anyone have this kind of experience? I heard someone says that the Bell Fibe TV remote use different carrier frequency other than 40KHz, but I called Bell TV Tech support and they are less help at this case, does anyone know what frequency range this VIP2622 at?

Thanks,

magang

I don't know about this unit specifically, but most units in the VIP line operate at 57KHz.

Thanks 3fingeredGlove! I will try to find a IR extender which can pass up to 60 kHz frequency.
