If there is a better forum on the web for support of winlirc and ir toy let me know.

I am having trouble configuring winlirc with ir toy. I fire up winlirc and start the configuration everything goes okgo into setup. The irtoy plugin setup goes fine. When I am back in the winlirc setup there is a field called "Remote Configs", a Browse button, and a Create Config button. I don't understand what I am supposed to do here. When I click on Create it puts "..\config.cf" in the field.

Anyway, not matter what I do with the Remote Configs field when I hit ok on the dialog I get the message "Error loading config file". Is there some file I am supposed to create or download for this?

Is it asking for a config file for the winlirc program or for a remote, like a standard lirc config file. I am confused.

Any help would be appreciated...

Hi mchahn,

The Dangerous Prototypes forum - irtoy sub-forum is where you should look for support. The WinLirc developer hangs out there.
