hey guys, iv had my Harmony 550 for about 2 years now, works great, controls everything i need, i just got this itch lately to upgrade to the harmony one,

do u guys think its worth it? i mean its mainly for the better FORM Factor of the Harmony one as the harmony 550 kinda feels flimsy i guess, and also the Color display of the Harmony one with the Color icons.

what do u guys think? if course ill need to sell my harmony 550 first which wont be easy and thats why i ask if its worth it to upgrade in the first place, because if i could sell my harmony 550 for lets say a 100 bucks id definitely upgrade to the harmony one no matter what..

You may be able to get half that price for your used remote, but seriously consider getting a refurbished remote from the online Logitech store at about 65% of the new price. Your local store will occasionally have specials and there is Black Friday a couple of months away.

IMO not worth it unless you get a really good price. Going to the One, you gain a color touch screen, better looks and a battery you have to recharge daily.

I have many spare 5xx's and 360's in my closet so I never run out. I think the 5xx series is the best remote for the price that Logitech has ever made.

However, if your remote budget matches your car budget, then you shouldn't be bothering with harmony at all. You should just hire an installer and get an RTI or Crestron.
