ok santa dropped one off.

question though i do not want my comcast dvr to ever turn off, is there anyway to configure that? i have googled it and failed. i cant see any options for "always on" in the software.

Why would you want to leave it on? It will record even when "off" as long as it's plugged in, that's the nature of the dvr function. There's also a dedicated thread to the harmony 600/650

wellt he problem is when u hit the watch tv function half the time it doesnt turn on the dvr.

In the software (not myharmony.com)

Go to devices tab

select "settings" for your cable box

Choose "Re-do setup for this device"

Choose " I want to leave this device on all the time"

If you are using myharmony.com I'm sure there is something similar in the device section.
