Just bought a mx-450 got all the devices programed into it just need help setting up macros I can get to the macros but don't know how to set TV HDMI input 4 and such thanks for all your help

Search all codes under your brand, not for first one that works. Look for discrete commands like HDMI 4 on one of the pages LED screens.

currently there is a macro working to switch to a device on tv hdmi1 with no tv programed into the remote how is that working

The HDMI CEC? One component is controlling the power of another over the HDMI cable.
