The RF module for my ceiling fan burned out and the remote for it never worked well to begin with, now that they need to be replaced I am hoping I can install a module that uses IR so I can use my Harmony One with it. I know the censor for the IR would need to be exposed, I am sure I could mod something to work, but is there a IR module that would work directly with the Harmony one? I found this auction for a Lutron Maestro module that claims to be IR; Will that work directly with no other hardware required? If not, what do I need? Install a new RF module and use some sort of IR to RF converter?

Hi ThrowingChicken, I purchased the Lutron Maestro IR Kit (MIR-LFQMT-WH) and wall plate (CW-1-WH) and it works great with my Harmony One.
