I have a customer that has an existing Crestron System (3 systems) that he aquired from the previous owner of the house. At this point he only wants to change the Tivo/Comcast box to a Comcast DVR. I have tried uploading from the remote using URC 850 software but failed to recognize. According to a URC tech the 850 software is suppose to work with the mx-700 , that's a normal one not a Crestron one. Is there any work around besides using the Comcast remote?
Thanx for any help.
Mark Z.

I've used an standard MX700 with the MX850 software with out a problem.

Could it be a pc issue ? Can you use an MX850 OK with the MX850 software ?

Are you using a USB adaptor (only some work)

Have you checked the port setting in the MX850 editor ?

Best of luck

Unless you have the Crestron program file to be able to make changes that way, the Comcast remote is likely your best bet.
