I would like to add the Dolby Music discrete code to my Harmony 880. My AVR is the Denon 988 which should be the same as the 2808, give or take.

I found this link
http://usa.denon.com/DocumentMaster/US/AVR-2808CI-IRCodes.pdf

Which has this code

This seems to be an IR Code, not a ProntoHex Code.

Any guidance on how to add this to my Harmony profile?

Thanks in advance.

It's a rather complicated procedure. But if you want to try it yourself, download Make Hex and the Make Hex GUI from the JP1 site and follow the instructions in this thread:

http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8113

If you want to do it the easy way, use the pronto hex on batpig's site:

http://batpigworld.com/wp/?p=117

You can add the code yourself on the members.harmonyremote.com site or email support and ask them to do it for you. More details are in my tips sticky thread at the top of this forum.

There's also the super easy option which is to learn it from a JP1 remote.

I have converted all the codes for my 3313. If the code below works with your AVR post which other codes you need.

thank you for the suggestions. I have successfully loaded the code in to my harmony profile, but the avr is not recognizing it (no response from the 988).

Are all these codes all supposed to be backwards compatible with older models?

I don't know about the backward compatibility but it matches what you have posted in your first post.
